Angelo Bignamini - "Abbuio" // ltd cassette available via NAUSEA rec

"Abbuio" is a term that refers to the Italian translation of the English word "Blackout" according to the proposal of the Italian linguist Arrigo Castellani. This new work marks Bignamini's return to the solo acoustic guitar.

Moving away from the more classic fingerpicking style, he offers five soft "ballads" (3 improvisations and 2 compositions) inspired by sleepless nights.

ATRX - A Glimpse of Melody OUT on PARAVISION

A Glimpse of Melody is a collection of fourteen cut short pieces by ATRX aka Marcello Groppi, Milano based composer and experimentalist. The series incorporates found sounds, improvised music and various samples to create a mysterious soundtrack, 14 imaginary visions of wastelands not yet uninhabited but still roamed by shaded melodies and spurring noises.

ATRX : bass, guitar, keyboards, field recordings, walkman, drums, objects.

The project was composed, performed and recorded by ATRX during year 2021.

Most of the tracks were bounced in mono format and we finally decided to keep them as they were born, straight out of the Jam Man pedal, unmastered.
